I love the rain.
It's Saturday night and it feels good to just listen to the rain outside the window. I was going to put on some music, but I think rain sounds better right now. It's also good to just take it easy this weekend, I was getting so run down this week that nothing sounded better than hanging out with my parents. So that's what I've been doing.

Last week was crazy, and the week before that was even more crazy. That week was Kristin's 21st and we went to Sundance and danced it up until close. Let's just say the end of the night was very regretable. If that's even a word. As Lauren says I need to redeem myself somehow, but I'm not quite sure how. And it seemed like I had a million annotated bibliographies due, which was the ultimate suck, I f-ing HATE annotated bibs. They are rubbish.
This week just seemed like whoooshhh. Class, work, rec, homework, class, work, rec... You get the point. I'm kinda starting to get more busy, but I might cry when finals come around. It's gonna be hell, that's for sure. But I really like work. And I wish I could say the same about class, but that's not the case this semester. I have high hopes for next year, I really hope they don't get dashed again. Let's just say CSU needs to work on hiring teachers, they aren't very good at it, at least in the English department.

So after a crazy week I got to have some fun on Thursday night after I worked an open house for the School of Social work. We went to the bars and then I came home and feel into a deep slumber just to get up and go to work again. At least I was done with class for the week, that's a relief. So after work Lauren and I packed up and headed to Denver where I came home, and got ready for my cousin's b-day celebration. Full of pizza and cake I headed home early and once again feel into a deep slumber. For like 13 hours. It was MUCH needed. And today I just shopped and got a manicure and a pedicure with my mom. Quality spent girly time, and I actually enjoyed it today--even the shopping! That's rare, but I need clothes to wear to the middle school and I am starting to wear the same thing everytime I go, so now I have a few nice spring things I can start wearing. If it ever stays nice for more than two days in a row...

Tommorrow is a lunch in for my cousin's deb stuff, and I'm just looking forward to the food. It should be good, and I'm glad I get to spend so much time with my family before I take off again. And I need to run one of these days, especially since I'm training for a half marathon in April. I might as well be training for my death, because it's seriously gonna be the end of me. It should be an interesting run. And next week sometime I'm gonna go skiing, so I'm excited. Then I'm back to the Fort on Thursday to work and celebrate St. Patties day with my long lost roomie!!

So there's my bi-monthly update. The grand summary of my life lately. The picts under here are from a night were we went to a strange yet fun party. And I am going to post some more from last weekend in Winter Park in a few days. And hopefully I can get my camera fixed one of these days too. Well as long as I'm on the computer, I'm gonna write Ash a much needed e-mail and then off to dinner with the 'rents.

Randoms

I just posted some random pictures, some from Katie's 21st, some from the concert at the x-games and some from Valentine's day. Where no one would be my valentine because of my chocolate tooth. It was a good time though. I'm just glad it's on Matt's birthday, that always makes it better. Anyway it's the start of another week. Nothing really big going on this week, so I might be going out for a friend of some friends b-day one of these nights. Besides that I'm just probably going to read, work out and try to get a job! Who would have thought it would be this hard to just get a simple work study job.
This weekend my brother and cousin came up which was good. It was really good to see them and they go to go to the delicious Hu Hot! And then we went bowling, which I'm always bad at, but I got a strike this time! YESSS. And the rest of the weekend was really laid back, I just stayed in a watched movies and hung out. And I feel a lot better than I was feeling, so that's good!

Bone deep

Well I posted some pictures. And by some I mean a lot. They are mostly from the last few months when I didn't have time to post because I was so busy doing nothing at all. There are titles on them denoting the true meaning of the otherwise pointless photos. So the chaos is defined in some sense. I am about to go to bed, I'm trying to work on a b-day present for my grand buddy Mateo, but I don't really know what I'm going to do. So that's that. Today I went to class and worked out and then ate back double what I worked out. But it was the most delicious Chinese food ever. Mmm. And I also sat around and spent a bit of time talking with my roommates. They are so worthless, taking up all my damn time. I'm living alone next year. That's it. Joshing! I love em. Although as I said before we are having a little trouble on the home front, but I think it will all work out ok.
I am finally getting warm, I have been freezing all night. Cold to the bone. I took the longest, hottest shower but I had to put on sweats and my slippers to insure that I stay warm. And I will say it with no regret: I HATE THIS WEATHER. Freezing. No more snow. I want to punch every flake as it falls. They make me so mad. School's boring, friends are good, I might get to see the missing bro this weekend and try not to spend any more money.
So that's that for now. Time to work on a present and head to bed.
