Red letter week?

What a bitter sweet week this has been. I will explain.

Bitter = icky chicky
Sweet = 6 classes so far the whole week.

Put into more depth, I ate something yesterday that my tummy did not like. Therefore I had to stay home from two classes. Then my other class was cancelled today since my teacher is sick. Which is bad, but good. So the past three days I have only had one class each day. And I haven't done barely homework, besides start a paper at 12 last night and finish it up around 2. Oh man I am being a SLACKER.

Also the dinner menu goes as such:

*Free Fazoli's dinner (I found coupons)
*Soapipeia (sp?) party by Dave's mom (free of charge of course)
*Panera (not free this time)
*Flambe (paid for by my uncle)

So I rule this week mostly sweet. I actually think just that dinner menu calls for a red letter week. The little things such as a stomach ache, a higher energy bill and stitches don't really compare to that glorious list of feasts.

Currently (not literally) I am crossing my fingers I get my stitches out today so I can go swimming or running or biking or SOMETHING..... I have been a lifeless blob for waaaaay too long. Unacceptable.

Tomorrow is going to be tricky because I will have to go to THREE classes in one day. That's half of my week's attendance rate in just one day. I think I can do it. Plus volunteer work with the kindies. They are so cute, and no matter what mood you are in going there, you'll always walk out in a good mood. Or at least better, until you get home and realize you have way too much homework and you don't want to think about it so you just log on to aim and facebook...
Maybe that's just me.

So a while ago I wrote a 5 page nonsense lymeric and I thought it would be fun to post it, but it's hard to just post a little bit of it and I don't know a single soul who would be excited to read my a lymeric, let alone one that is 5 pages. So I voted it off this week's posting. It was the weakest link. Ok I'll stop with that rubbish.

I was going to make a little list of things I have learned recently, but I am starving and Jen and I are going to Spicy Pickle. Just to add to my constant eating streak...
Good work Jessica. Geeze.

Ok. I'm out.
Good tidings.

The icing on the cake

What a weekend. I'm beginning to run low since I only had four hours of sleep, so I'll make this quick.

Well as the pictures show I had a fantastic weekend full of friends, brews and laughter...?

Friday was a relaxing night in with a few friends and the roomies just playing some games and sipping on some of Dave's tasty drinks.
Saturday I went out with my grand buddy Kristin to Whole Foods where we dined with the most excellent sandwiches of all time. Then we went to her friend Brian's and hit the Hukah while playing Mario Cart. So that was all in good fun.
I came home to not good fun, when one of my roommates was having some troubles, so we talked to her for a while, and I think things are better now. Then Lauren and I got ready, sipped on some margs and went to City Park and Mulberry (say in New York accent) after a few games of flip cup at the neighbor's.

We had a jovial time at the grand party where we were once again reunited with the booze tour crew from last weekend. There we took 1 million pictures, danced on the table and shared bundles of laughter... I am starting to sound a little creepy. NONETHELESS! I shall continue.

After that we hoofed it to our dear friend Ashley's, and on the way had a little chat with the cops. I just told him I had stitches in my heal and sent him on his merry way. After spending some quality time at Ash's, Benjamen drove Lauren, Noel, Moises, and I back to our humble abode where we tried tongue twisters, played Jenga, called some sleeping folk, ate cheez-it's out of ladles, and as always took another 1 million pictures (all the while they were wearing sunglasses). So that was our joyous time. Ben and Mo left soon after where upon Noel and I had a grand sleepover.

We then awoke, went to our favorite eatery, Chipolte, and went to Ben's and hung out for a while. Then Lo and I came back here, then went and ate some wings while watching the superbowl and then I cleaned like a madwoman. So that has been my weekend, like it or not I had a grand time. That made no sense. OK moving on...

So as I sort of promised I want to write a little bit about what I wrote the other day on me, so here's a paragraph or two.

"I always want to ride my bike, but when I'm riding uphill I wonder why I wanted to do it so badly. I eat too much and read too little and recently I have really had an urge to play tennis. On the other hand it's always windy and I can't stand the wind. I have a list of things I want to do before I die and I hope to accomplish all of them. I usually have a three sequence sneeze in which the last one is longer than the first two. I love cuddling, and usually close contact makes me feel safe. I lie in bed many nights wishing I had someone to hold me, yet I am afraid of committment and feeling too much. I'm concerned about the world, but not as much as I should be. Poltics bore me almost as much as math confuses me. I am amazed by the way people act towards others, and I enjoy people watching. Gossip is a waste of time, but I don't know anyone, besides my grandma, who doesn't do it. I like butterflies and lady bugs, but I hate earwigs. For some reason, I have trouble killing spiders so I usually let them sit on my wall and I give them a name.

I don't have enough attention span or patience to carve a pumpkin, but I could sit and write for hours. Reading invigorates me, yet I have to be motivated to do it. I like snow but I believe it belongs in the mountians. I usually wish I had more money just so I could ski and travel more. I am extremely sheltered and probably have too much faith in others. I will always have hope for people, giving up is not something to be taken lightly. I adore puppies, and I have fallen in love with the beach. I wish I could surf and play guitar, but I don't know if I would have the patience to learn. I love working with kids, but sometimes I am too much of a softie. I feel overwhelmed when I am looking for good quotes or when I need to what to do at the rec center. I would rather lift weights than jog, and I would rather drink than smoke. I haven't been proud of myself in a few months now, but I try to improve my attitude whenever I think about it..."

So there's the bit for today. Now that I have talked to good old Alex and written in here, I am dead meat for my paper due tomorrow. Uh o. I'm gonna go work on that. But there are a ton of picts from this weekend below...so as always, enjoy!
