"I just can't seem to get right through"

This is a day to mark down in history. I am actually WRITING and not just posting pointless pictures.

I awoke this morning at the hour of 8:30 and was unable to venture back to my slumbers. Disappointed and defeated, I turned to my dear old computer for entertainment. Although I have a list of things to do that is miles long, they require my upmost non-hungover attention, and sadly enough, I cannot provide that right now. My little blog though does not require really any focused attention and since it is my own I do what I want.

Anyway, it's Sunday. I've decided as much as I like Sundays, I don't. There's always the looming feeling that in the near future there will be Monday. And who likes Monday? Honestly, I don't know anyone that likes Monday. What a dumb day.

So I've been feeling rather pensive latey and writing seems to be the cure to rid myself of those feelings. Truthfully, I don't really know what pensive means. It's one of those things where you think you know what it means, and you feel like you can use it in a sentence, but if someone were to ask me what it means I would probably make up something out of thin air. In the absence of information we create our own. Not a good motto to have as a future educator since I could and most likely will give students the wrong information. No matter! That shouldn't stop me from making things up. I can't come across as an idiot! So I will continue sounding smart until someone calls me out. Which might be sooner rather than later.

I've been thinking a lot about the bleak future latey and I am a little frustrated. The reason is because I don't know what the hell I'm going to be doing. I mean, yeah I know what I'm doing this month and the next and all the way up until July, but after that it is a big question mark. I applied to teach in Japan and I got my results back the other day. I am an alternate. WTF. So they said any time between now and DECEMBER I may be going. MAY. HA. Don't worry, I'll be awaiting their e-mail and have my bags packed just incase. Just kidding, I don't think I will be going. Which is totally releaving (I don't think that's how you spell that...), and I feel guilty saying that. I just was so unsure...Eh, we'll see what happens. I'm going to apply for some other places in the mean time.

Ok enough of that. I want to make some lists.

Things I do not like:
1. When people tell you they will do something and then they don't follow through (even though I do it way too much)
2. Calf cramps
3. Early mornings
4. Not being able to go back to sleep
5. Frost on my car
6. Cats
7. When there is no gum in sight
8. The wind
9. Politics
10. Falling down

Things I like:
1. When other people fall down
2. Eating
3. Nice days
4. Meeting new people
5. Stickers
6. Baby walruses
7. Water (to drink, to swim in, to look at)
8. Dance parties
9. Flowers
10. Taking action pictures (mostly jumping)

Ok, so it sounds like a first grader wrote that. I've lost any creativity I might have had. I am going to work on trying to get that back. Until I won't torture the readers with this mind numbing writing anymore!

Be gone!
Hasta.

Break, Easter, and Hannah's visit!
