Restless minds
Ok as usual, I have a paper I'm supposed to be writing, but I am avoiding it as much as I can. It's gonna be a long night I can already tell.
Well this was definately a weekend to go down in the books, one of the best so far. Friday night we ventured to Denver for a Rockies game, which was awesome. They won in the ninth, coming back from what could have been a 2 run loss. There was about 30 of us total, and we broke up into two groups and wondered around aimlessly downtown for a while before finally deciding to get home. We cruised the strip and then we stopped at Johnson's corner to try their famous cinniman buns. They were good, but too sugary. We then went to the guys' house and hung out and ate cat breath mints. Well only me. What a chalky treat.
Saturday I awoke after a peaceful night's sleep, and gathered with the girls outside to catch some rays. That eventually turned into a water balloon fight with the neighbors, which soon became an all out water fight and finally ended up being an excellent slip and slide in their yard. We took lots of picts (obviously) and even got some good videos of it. After that Lauren got home from her grand day of fishing, and her and I took Clyde on a walk to the park. We played some frisbee with the guys for a bit and then headed home.
Later we went BACK over there for the end of the depressing Nuggets game, and just chilled as we smoked some hukah and blacks as we played the jib game and then just told some stories. After some quesidillas and some teenage mutant ninja turtle episodes, everyone went home or went to bed and Lauren, Dan, Richie and I decided to have a mini sleepover. So we slept on the couches and they slept on the floor and we just chatted until we could barely keep our eyes open.
This morning we watched some more episodes, ate some ciniman buns and headed back over to our place just to lay around some more before going to eat some pizza. I took a little snoozer, did some laundry and here I am now. Not wanting to write a paper. Not really wanting to do anything.
Oh, last weekend was good too. We had a bbq and then walked to the park with the guys and just hung out there on Friday. Sat Lo and I headed home where we just hung out with our fams both days. Sunday I ate a whole lot at a glorious buffett. Mmmm. And last week was ok, I think I was at the library almost every night. Amazing, huh? It wasn't too bad, but not too good either.
On a brighter note, I got tickets for the String Cheese/Keller Williams concert July 1st! So that is exciting. We're also gonna try to get some for the Ben Harper Damien Marely concert, but I'm pretty sure it's sold out... We'll see.
Well to procrastinate some more I think I am going to go shower. I will put up more picts from last night shortly, until then good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!
