I'll raise my glass to that

It is time to take a break for Spring break, and let me just say, IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Ok, so it's not like I'm an extremely hard worker and I have been studying feriously up until we got out of school, but it's time for a change of pace, and a little change of scenery.

It's funny how people midly change, and with all this talk about change, I think "change" in it's own sense is healthy, necessary and although it can be painful, it only makes us stronger people and builds to who we become. Because without change and diveristy, we might remain the same as a species for all of time because there would be no evolution taking place. So, in conclusion, I say we welcome change, because no matter what it will be something that will always stick around. Just think about that one.

Anyway, as I was saying hurrah for spring break. And hurrah for homecooked meals, realaxation and then UTTER CHAOS!

And of course the utter chaos I am referring to is the one and only Boston, MA where I will be venturing in t minus 2.5ish days. I am nervous since I am compeltely direction challanged in my own neighborhood let alone a city I have never been to and on top of that I have no one to help me on my way there. I sure hope I can do it, and maybe it will build character...or something like that.

We’ll see how that goes, I’ll have to report back and tell my faithful bloggers if I made it without getting lost. And if I don’t then I guess it can be assumed I got swallowed in the big city and devoured in the crime ridden city of Boston. Man am I excited.

So far break has been mostly…well good, yet not as relaxing as I want quite yet. Friday night Earl and I cruised the strip trying to find things to do, not being very successful with that, I still had a good time. Saturday I went to my brothers’ swim meet in the morning with Alex as we sat and watched 5 events that took 3 hours. I guess 20 heats of each event will do that for ya. It was good though since I got to see people who I haven’t seen in a while. And then him, Lo, Scott and I went to our favorite eatery, Chipolte. After that I came home and started uploading cds onto my i-tunes before picking Alex up to go to Dairy Queen to discuss plans for later this week. Then I picked up Lauren and we went to Boulder for the 4A and 5A boys state basketball championships. Needless to say, it was a long night. Too bad I’m not a big fan of basketball. TJ won theirs and Creek got slaughtered, just to say…But I’m glad I went, I got to see Todd and Matt which was a bit of a surprise. After taking them home and having a nice chat with Ash I feel into a deep slumber and snoozed well into today.

I haven’t been feeling my best these past few weeks, which is unusual for me since I am disgustingly healthy most of the time. So I’ve been trying to take it easy today, with the exception of a quick shopping trip with my mom, I’ve been sitting around all day, resting up so I feel ok by Wednesday morning when my flight leaves at the butt crack of dawn.

Until then I am going to kick back and hang low, maybe go visit my mom at work, and take a trip to the museum with Lauren! That will be cool, I haven’t been there in forever and we are way overdue for that excursion.

I have a feeling that when I get back from BC I will be ready to be back in the fort. I think we are going to have a St. Patties day/Jen’s b-day celebration after school gets going again. Either the first weekend back, or the one after that. Jolly good then.

I would just like to say one thing to get off my chest, what good is it to be selfish and egotistical? If someone could tell me, I would be happy to hear that douche bag’s response. That’s all I have to say about that, my rant is over.

Ah! My computer is freaking out. It does not like me putting all these millions of wonderful tunes on it.

Ok, well I think I am going to go watch another movie with my brother but if I don't write before I go, bon voyage to me!
Cheers!
